• Quiz answers — your preferences used to generate the portrait
• Email address — collected via Stripe during checkout for purchase receipts
• IP address & user agent — for rate limiting and abuse prevention

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your personalized AI portrait and personality reading
• To process your payment via Stripe
• To provide you with a unique link to access your reading
• To prevent abuse and enforce rate limits

3. Data Storage & Retention

Your reading data (portrait, personality text, quiz answers) is stored in our database to allow you to access your results via your unique reading link. AI-generated portrait images are stored temporarily and may be deleted after 90 days. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we do not store your credit card details.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Fal.ai — AI image generation (receives only the portrait prompt, not your personal data)
• Supabase — database hosting
• Vercel — website hosting

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. We use localStorage in your browser to maintain your session during the quiz and reading generation process. No advertising cookies are used.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will delete your reading, portrait, and personal information from our database.

7. Children's Privacy

Soul Sketch is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
